Mission
The Purple Print Dance Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing culturally rooted dance education, training, and professional development for dancers and artists from underserved communities. Through dance instruction, cultural preservation, and performance opportunities, the Foundation supports artistic advancement, mental wellness, and pathways to sustainable creative careers.

The Purple Print Dance Foundation envisions a thriving cultural ecosystem where dance artists and educators are connected to communities, opportunities, and resources that allow them to be uplifted, economically supported, and recognized as cultural leaders. Programs & Initiatives
GOLDEN HEARTS Booster Fund– Financial support for student essentials, including costumes, practice uniforms, and various resources aimed at enhancing their success and wellness.
J.E.T.T. Grant– Scholarship that pays full tuition for a year to Passion Dance Center. Includes fees for any teams student may join and costume fees. (Just Educating & Training Talent).
Culture Connection (Cultural Legacy & Preservation) – Supports our Bounce Culture Workshops, Guest Artist Intensives, In-School Cultural Residencies. With the focus of documenting New Orleans dance culture, and supporting Community showcases celebrating cultural roots.
PRO Connection– A fund designed to link dancers from New Orleans and nearby regions with professional commercial dancers, choreographers, and college-level dancers. It’s goal is to enhance education and foster networking opportunities. Bringing Masterclasses, Shadowing opportunities, College prep (auditions, reels, resumes).
Mental Wellness & Artist Care– Support for Mental health workshops for dancers, Performance anxiety & confidence coaching, Injury prevention & body care education and Safe-space discussions for artists of color.
P.U.R.P.L.E. Dance + Tech Lab (Programming, Unity, Rhythm, Problem-solving, Logic & Expression)- Funding workshops and classes for Coding basics (Scratch, Python, or web tools), Video editing & motion capture, Digital choreography tools, Website building for artists, Portfolio & reel creation, Social media analytics for creatives.
